First Baptist Church of Manasquan

Serve Jersey Shore is a faith based outreach and community service day in Ocean and Monmouth County, NJ. Dozens of churches will be participating, as they serve in specific projects for 24 non-stop hours. The churches fund their own projects that range from two to four hours. It begins at 10AM on Saturday, Aug 19 and ends at 10AM on Sunday August 20. All churches and projects will be listed on

The purpose of this day is to show the love of Jesus Christ to thousands of our local neighbors through a manageable, synergistic and unified effort. Churches routinely do service projects, run food distribution ministries, and serve the least and the loneliest among us. On Saturday, Aug 19, churches will collectively meet the needs of the community for the sole purpose of loving God and loving people.

Our projects in Manasquan include…

  • Cleaning ambulances at the Manasquan First Aid Squad
  • Collecting food at Manasquan Acme for our Little Free Pantry
  • Preparing breakfast for the day laborers and distributing information about upcoming English classes.

Or you can join in the projects at the Asbury Park and Toms River hubs…
