New Youth Leader, Robin Popoff invites our youth and their friends to several new opportunities. Grades 4 through 7 will be meeting on Wednesdays, beginning September 27th at 4:00 pm in Fellowship Hall for “Truth or Trash”. Also beginning on September 27th at 5:30 PM ,
New Youth Director, Robin Popoff, invites children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade to join her for Children’s Church beginning on October 1st at 10am. Robin is looking forward to a fun filled morning with the kids as they learn more about their faith.
Family Yoga will resume on Wednesday, October 4th at 5:00 PM. All ages and abilities are invited to attend the class led by Sara Page Hall. A donation of $5 ($10 maximum per family) is suggested. Dust off that yoga mat and join us in Fellowship Hall.

Serve Jersey Shore is a faith based outreach and community service day in Ocean and Monmouth County, NJ. Dozens of churches will be participating, as they serve in specific projects for 24 non-stop hours. The churches fund their own projects that range from two to four hours.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses.
Join us Sunday, July 9th as we “Worship Without Walls” at 10:00 am. Following the service we will be welcoming the ABHMS work campers with an All Church BBQ. Burgers and dogs will be provided, but please bring a side dish to share.
American Baptist Men of Pennsylvania and Delaware will be holding their annual men’s retreat on Friday, July 28 thru Sunday, July 30. This year’s retreat will be held at Shippensburg University, 1871 Old Main Drive, Shippensburg, PA. The theme is “Nothing is Impossible with God”
The North Shore Association will be holding their Spring Rally on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park, 124 Atkins Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ. The business meeting will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by worship at 4:00 pm and a light dinner and fellowship at 5:30 pm.
All hands on deck! Help us spruce up the church grounds, as well as the church building on Saturday, April 8th at 8:00 am – 10:30 am. Outside work includes cleaning the flower beds, so if you have them, a pair of gloves is recommended.

On Sunday October 11 seven brave souls went all in and shaved their heads to support pediatric cancer research through St. Baldrick’s Foundation and to show our love and support for 13-year-old Daphne N.
Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes are now available. Our collection date will be Sunday, November 15th. Operation Christmas Child partners with churches worldwide to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After receiving shoe box gits, many children are discipled through our Bible study course,
The next meeting of BYG (Baptist Youth Group) will be on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. BYG is open to all youth in grades 6 through 12.
Beginning Sunday, October 11th, reNEW is “taking it to the streets”. At 5:00 pm we will be gathering at Main Street Kitchen, 140 Main Street in Manasquan for good food, good music and good news. Join us and bring a friend to share in our new ministry.
On October 18th following worship, the Board of Missions will be hosting a car wash. Funds from the car wash will be used to help local families pay for a load of laundry at a local laundromat, TURNING A CAR WASH INTO AN OUTREACH!
Sunday School has begun with a “littles” class for PreK and Kindergarten and a “bigs” class for 1st thru 4th grade. Students are dismissed from worship service to their classroom following taking of the offering. Teachers are needed for both classes and there is a sign-up sheet in the sanctuary or you can speak to Meghan Campion (732-431-3910).
Daphne N. recently turned 13 and is an 8th grade student in Monmouth County. She is a beautiful girl that has fought hard against the cancer in her body.
The St. Baldrick Foundation has named Daphne their Honored Child of the Year.

On Saturday we bid farewell to our final (scheduled) work group for the season.
These wonderful volunteers have traveled from as far north as Maine and as far south as Washington DC to be a part of rebuilding in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
